I believe this well get you r printer working. first emerge foomatic second emerge foomatic -db. Then go to control center- peripherals -printers to configure your printer note be sure to click administrater privilage at the botom of page before configuring. The foomatic data base contains a huge number of hp drivers so be patient when going through the list. :)

Thanks for your reply, although if you look above your recent post I did figure it out continuously doing more research.
Thanks again.

Now all I need to do is continue to figure out why its not mounting my USB drives and i'll move back to 64-bit.

I love linux....

I totally messed up moving back to 64bit, I think i'm going to stay at 32bit bit and repartition my hard drive back to normal.
32 bit isn't bad but its kinda slow and it doesn't used my processor capability.

I have 500gb hard drive

100 gb to Sabayon 64 bit
50 gb Sabayon 32bit
350gb to Windows XP 64-bit

.....ugh. Useless w/ so many problems w/ 64 bit already.

your not going to notice a difference between 32 vs 64 for operation. 64 is better if needing heavy mathematical or lots of video editing, otherwise your using a lot of 32 bit software with your 64 bit anyway.

I use both and performance is same.

I suppose, in 64bit my graphics exceled way more then they do in 32bit....in 32bit it seems like the graphics bog down a bit...and things seem to load a bit slower. True. I'm still going to move back to 32bit, I feel its a more stable then 64 as of right now. + I had everything working.

If anything, you can put (solved) now. Since I did solve my problem. hah.

Seems to be everytime I find something thats broke w/ my OS or my setup for that matter, I post something, then I get bored the next day and search for hours and figure it out myself. I appreciate all the help and hope to continue to learn more so I can eventually help others. I enjoy this distro.
