Installing livedvd in virtualbox

Postby Trintlord » Sun Apr 19, 2009 19:38

Alright so right now I dual-boot Vista and windows 7 (yes I know, heretic, doom, gloom and all that) but did not feel like partitioning again. So picked up virtualbox, it runs the livedvd fine but curious how to actually install instead of needing the dvd all the time.

So the virtual drive should come up as a partition?

I have the 4.1 livedvd running in a virtual machine, would that be the same as a virtual partition? If not how do I set up the virtual partiton?

you might want to google for a tutorial on virtualbox or read the help files from virtualbox
