In order for it to boot to kde use the cheat codes
"noacpi xdriver=vesa res=1024x768"
Res can be higher number but not having vesa there = black screen last time I tried or I was just too much in a hurry LOL.
I did enable VT for intel as my cpu can do it check with yours if it can before enabling it.
