Run that DVD before you burn it with VMware player

So you just downloaded that must have new operating system and are ready to burn that hot DVD. First check that MD5 then hope the burn works or simply fire up VMware player and run it first. How ?

VMware player and the virtual appliances, specifically LiveCD Player will let you fire that hot little puppy up NOW! OK it seems to specify "CD" have you been drinking? Yup, coffee and lots of it but this little jewel cares not if it is a CD or DVD it just runs.

So ask lnxay to build the next versions with vmware player support and try it before you burn it.

Enjoy

I have insane trust on download managers. I rarely even bother to check the md5, since those managers can correct errors that might occur during the transfer pretty well.

What I'd like to see, though, is "check this dvd" that's avail on many other distros as an boot option. I feel more secure, when the check is done by the way authors of the dvd wanted it to be done. Physical check, corruption..one can implement quite a few features into a such check to make sure, the dvd is working just right.

Hehe..I haven't checked, if this kind of feature already exists on the dvd. Yeah, I'm lazy.
