I had no problem with modules using kernel-switcher and 3.8

Just tried it on the live disk
Code: Select all
localhost sabayonuser # kernel-switcher switch linux-sabayon-3.8 --ask

That's what kernel-switcher is for, it resolves those dependencies. However, when I recently tried to use 'kernel-switcher switch linux-sabayon-3.8', I get a backtrace:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/kernel-switcher", line 349, in <module>
rc = nsargs.func(nsargs)
File "/usr/bin/kernel-switcher", line 241, in _switch_kernel
False, 1, [], package_matches=list(matches))
TypeError: _install_action() takes at least 17 arguments (17 given)

I forgot all about kernel-switcher!!! As a former Debian guy, I guess I'm just used to apt pulling in all of the required dependencies automatically. Equo and Sulfur do a great job of this too, but it just didn't happen yet with kernel 3.8. It's not a big deal to go in and grab the modules manually either. I'll have to pin a post-it to my monitor reminding me to use kernel-switcher in the future. :D
