Problem Adding Services [Solved]

Postby mahalay » Tue Feb 26, 2013 10:31

Hello Guys,

I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on the following issue:

Code: Select all
localhost etc # rc-update add shorewall default && rc-update show |grep shorewall && rc-status default |grep shorewall
 * rc-update: shorewall already installed in runlevel `default'; skipping
            shorewall |      default
localhost etc #

Shorewall and other newly added services don't start when system boots. No matter if I add the service to "boot" or "default" runlevel, it simply doesn't start the service.

Kind regards
