Can't upload files to forums, max file size is low

I try to upload a image to my post in the hardware forum to help describe my problem, but the board gives me this error message:

Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.

Also, the maximum file size limit is 256kb which is kindof low, can be bump it up to 0.5mb?

I also had trouble uploading a screenshot created by gnome printscreen due to the filename causing issues - it included the : character - if the forums are hosted on a linux server I don't understand the problem.

Use instead one of the many Web photo sharing services such as http://tinypic.com/, http://imgur.com/, https://www.dropbox.com/ etc.
