Date settings in gnome 3.4

Postby oliverjanik » Wed Nov 07, 2012 13:59

Hi, I have up to date Sabayon with Gnome 3.4

Whenever I try to change Date & Time Gnome ignores me happily. Also Internet Time checkbox does not seem to do anything.

I read somewhere that gnome 3.4 and on uses systemd for its date/time services. Is it possible that Sabayon is not yet using systemd?

What should I do? Will upgrade to 3.6 solve this?

I solved wrong time on cmdline using ntpdate and setting /etc/localtime and /etc/timezone.

But gnome still refuses to change my time. Don't know where to report that. Any ideas?
