CoreCDX or SpinBase I Dont Want Logical Volumes. Help?

Postby nagol » Wed Oct 31, 2012 1:05

This is my first post ever. First time I couldn't find the answer anywhere else.

Here we go.

How do I not use lvm with CoreCDX or SpinBase?

I guess I could just install from chroot but the whole point in using sabayon was the handy installer. I know the full-blown kde version allows manual partitioning, but I don't want or need that.

Thanks.

The Installer is Anaconda and the partitioning tool is part of that, just make sure review partitioning is checked and a you can manually partition from there..

Thanks so much for the reply. Just wanted to mention, I finally figured the manual partitioning out. For some reason I didnt see the manual partition option when I ran strictly the installer. However when I ran the live environment first, then ran the installer I had the manual partitioning option. Thats for the CoreCDX anyways, never did figure out how to do it with Spinbase. I guess I could have just missed it though.

Thanks again.
