Automatic Verbose Splash

Hi all. I would like to have automatic verbose splash (instead of pressing F2) when I boot/shutdown my system.

I've tried to change kernel parameter splash=silent,theme:sabayon to splash=verbose,theme:sabayon. This works fine for boot splash, but shutdown splash completely disappears (although system completes shutdown with success).

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
