bleeding edge doesn't mean retarded devs. We know how to deal with glibc and if we're still stuck with 2.14 it is for a good reason. We will jump to 2.16 directly. Don't get fooled by version numbers also.

sci-misc/boinc-7.0.29 is now available in the portage tree
see http://gentoo-portage.com/sci-misc/boinc
it should work
