Contributing to Sabayon

Hi folks,

First I have to say that Sabayon is running great for me. I just recently installed the Gnome flavor and it's running wonderfully for me. Many years ago I ran Gentoo but for my work laptop it was just too much to maintain and too long a process, but I did come to miss the speed improvements it provided. Thankfully Sabayon provides the best of both worlds.

In that regards I would love to help contribute to the Sabayon project(s). I admittedly am not much of a programmer but I know there's always other ways of helping from documentation, to Wiki to helping with bug reports to testing and more. However when trying to find areas to contribute to, and the ways I could be most helpful without duplicating efforts or stepping on anyone's toes, I've been unable to find any page or wiki article or even forum post on how to contribute to the project, on what teams (if any?) exist or what work they may want help with. The only thing I came across was the dev mailing list. Is anyone aware of such a page already exists or if not can anyone help provide some information regarding how others can contribute and other information I mentioned above? I would also be happy to create a wiki article on any information provided to me (either on this thread or via PM etc).

Finally, I also notice that file uploads are disabled on the Wiki. Is there any way to either have permissions granted for this, or to have an admin upload the file (screenshot) for use in an article?

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

The best idea would to come and hang out with on IRC in #sabayon and/or #sabayon-dev, and talk to either myself, joost_op, lxnay or wolfden or possibly dont_panic.
