Cannot log into encrypted home partition.[Solved]

After doing a fresh install of Sabayon 8, I cannot log into my encrypted (crypt-luks) /home partition. I am considering another fresh install, but encrypting the root partition as well. I'm thinking that the boot process is not being halted to accept the key. Anyhelp would be appreciated

Hi again. I did a clean install of Sabayon 8 Gnome. I encrypted the root and home partitions. All works well at the moment. I think I need to spend more time learning about encryption. Cheers
