Under VMware Server (Virtual Machine with only 256Mb of RAM), actually, this preliminary ISO (that beta testers will test soonly), boots in ~1:45 seconds.

SabayonLinux pre-alpha 3.2 Live mode boot time

Today I've made some tests on SL 3.2 boot performance. Well, it is, more or less, at least 2x times faster than 3.1. I've integrated UnionFS, parallelized OpenGL HW Acceleration and added a nice boot GUI called "Acceleration Manager".
Under VMware Server (Virtual Machine with only 256Mb of RAM), actually, this preliminary ISO (that beta testers will test soonly), boots in ~1:45 seconds.
