Belkin UPS with 'Bulldog Pro'?

Hi - I use a 1200vA Belkin UPS for this workstation; NUT & its KDE front end work OK~ish; but its Belkin driver doesn't has very limited functionality . . . has anyone here managed to get the proprietory Belkin 'Bulldog Pro' monitoring software & its driver working in Sabayon or any other Gentoo flavour?

[I have been searching through mailing lists & so on for over a day - AFAIK the issue appears to be rc scripts to correctly start/stop/restart the daemon].
