How do I stop the menus from blasting open and closing when I click with my mouse. Like if I click on system. The whole screen fills up with all the apps, and if you try to click on a app, the menus jump so fast there is no chance of actually clicking on something????

Can you give more information, such as what your using? What version of SL? Desktop Manager? All that good stuff. The more information you give the better it helps people understand.

I saw this as well.
w/ KDE the menus were huge, covered the screen, after clicking on any category in the root menu. Even covered up the root menu for the most part. Where's the config for this?
w/ GNOME the menus are structured differently, and difficult to navigate.
