ati errors, (not the 200) no DRI

I know AIGLX doesnt work with ati's fglrx driver, I dont seem to have aiglx setup? or maybe I do.

I did a pretty default install. then I updated the ati-drivers. I ran aticonfig and now in my Xorg log I see this:

Code: Select all
(EE) AIGLX error: dlopen of /usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so: undefined symbol: __glXFindDRIScreen)
(EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering
(II) Loading local sub module "GLcore"
(II) LoadModule: "GLcore"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libGLcore.so
(II) Module GLcore: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
        compiled for 7.1.1, module version = 1.0.0
ABI class: X.Org Server Extension, version 0.3
(II) GLX: Initialized MESA-PROXY GL provider for screen 0

Also Direct Rendering is off:
Code: Select all
localhost ~ # glxinfo
name of display: :0.0
display: :0  screen: 0
direct rendering: No
server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.2
server glx extensions:
...

So what do I do? Does this mean I need to switch from AIGLX to XGL? How do I do that?
