ATI Xpress 200 Class Action

Statement of Intent

As you are aware the Xpress 200 chipset was sold under false or deceptive advertising and labeling. I have purchased two motherboard with Ati chipset prior to becoming aware of the deceptive tactics. Now I find that Ati is attempting to drop support of the product on linux driver side resulting in a system that is unable to meet my needs. I would think a reasonable person would expect a life expectancy of more that one year.

Since this has become a publicly known issue and packaging and advertisement were withdrawn by ATI, yet ATI never offered the purchasers a remedy to the situation, It is my intent to have a class action suit started against ATI and its distributors.
