Whenever I try accessing this from the LiveDVD I get the following traceback.

What command did you use? DId you check your md5sum of the iso and verified the dvd? etc etc...need more information and which version ;)

Azureus automatically does a checksum verification of all the downloaded blocks. So unless the torrent on the sabayon site points to a corrupt file, checksums should not be a problem. I used nero to validate the burn. I was using Sabayon 3.0 RC 2 x86_64. I just used the control center option under the System section. I did not use the command line.

it's a known problem, it will be corrected soon...it's all guidance fault, so there's no hope to solve it on livemode....once installed you can remove guidance manually and then reemerge kde
