Lexmark Platinum Pro905 drivers

Hello Everyone,

I have just moved over to Sabayon and I am trying to get my Lexmark Platinum Pro905 printer to work.
Lexmark provides closed source drivers for several deb and rpm based distros hence not for gentoo. Searching around the forum has unfortunately been of no use so far, which is why I am opening this new topic.

Has anyone had experience in getting Lexmark drivers to work on Sabayon?
Any help would be appreciated.
