Sleep causes X restart

Postby yu210148 » Sat Sep 08, 2012 0:33

Hi All,

I'm using Sabayon limbo and starting earlier this week when I close the laptop lid which is set to send the system to sleep (suspend to ram) X seems to restart when I open it back up again. It looks like it does the same thing when I manually send the system to sleep via Kmenu-->Leave-->sleep.

I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this but here's my Xorg.0.log file:
https://pastebin.sabayon.org/pastie/10461

Here's the Xorg configuration files:
https://pastebin.sabayon.org/pastie/10462

Here's ~/.xsession-errors:

Here's the system and hardware info from sabutil menu:
https://pastebin.sabayon.org/pastie/10466

Here's /var/log/messages

And here's kdm.log

I'm on a Gateway laptop with an ATI Radeon HD4250 video card. I suspect this has to do with the troubles I've been seeing posts about on the dev mailing list over the last few weeks.

Anyone else having a similar issue?

If you need any more info from this side let me know.

Thanks in advance.

kev.
