Scroll wheel mouse [Solved]

Postby AnotherDave » Sun Jun 24, 2012 19:31

The scroll wheel on my HP USB mouse only works part-time with Sabayon. This is apparently a configuration issue as it works fine under other linuxes.

The evdev docs refer me to /etc/X11/xorg.conf where I see no input device configuration listed. There is also a "# lines to scroll" setting in KDE which has no effect on my scrolling.

The Gentoo Wiki doesn't address the HP mouse or scrolling. I also tried searching this forum, and Googling. So I'm stumped. How do I wake up the scroll wheel on my mouse?

UPDATE: It turned out to be a problem with the mouse itself, that happened when I installed Sabayon.
