Found a bug in kernel

Postby cirrus » Mon Jun 18, 2012 11:52

First off im new to the forums so im not sure how to report bugs , anyway what ive found is i cannot mount any SDHC card in both of my sabayon9 installs on two different computers using a usb card reader and not using a usb card reader , the error i get on attempting to mount SDHC is "cannot mount driver is not inhibited in kernel". On trying the same SDHC cards in different evironments it works flawless , so im hoping the powers that be see this, and im hoping other users will attempt to mount any SDHC/SD/MMC flash storage devices in sabayon9 3.4.0 kernel and leave comment on the findings.
Regards

Hi there,
I also have a SDHC/SD/MMC flash storage device/card reader.,
in my case it's a Hama., 35 in 1.
I'm running SL9 KDE, 3.4.0 kernel, and just want to report that i can fully mount any stick i put in, and even can boot from them.
I even used the stick from my Camera, to boot Slax, through the card reader., setting my Bios to boot from USB....
