Toshiba Laptop Runs hot on idle - Sabayon 3.4f- Beryl - on

Postby jaguar3d » Tue Nov 20, 2007 6:30

Hello All, I noticed that my Toshiba P105 Laptop runs hot even when idle and nothing running? Is it the AIGLX? When i dual boot to xp pro sp2 it doesn't get warm on idle. Are there processes on the initial Full Build/install that should be turned of perhaps. I'm concerned about it because i feel the batter power won't last if there are deamons that are sucking up the juice? Its a fresh install with ALL options installed and only firefox and Beryl setup on it.

STill can't get my sound card to work, but that's another issue and a different thread already started on that one.
