I had successfully run Sabayon Linux Business Edition 1.0 on my main office/personal computer - Compaq workstation, upgraded to AMD 64X2_5600, 2GB DDR2 RAM, and 250GB ATA/EIDE HD, and after testing new Sabayon Linux Professional 1.1 as Live DVD, decided to upgrade.
Before the upgrade install, I increased my System memory to 4MG - from 2GB, and changed HD from 250GB ATA/EIDE to 320GB SATA drive.
Now NO Sabayon version, even Business edition will complete Live or HD install, instead stopping (crashing) at :
(last two lines)
>> Booting (initramfs)..Switch_root: Bad console '/dev/console'
[ 85.815458] Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Please help, as I have re-configured my whole workstation computer plan based on Sabayon, and do not wish to consider any other distro.
