Hi
I'm running Sabayon 3.4. and an Epson Stylus CX 3900. Unable to get it to print. Scanner function is fine, loaded iscan via portage- works well both with Sane and epson native program. However cannot print.
Checked epson website which directs u to Avys but only scnner driver offered not the printer driver.
CUPS recognises the printer but driver is not listed. Please help.

I googled it and found the following page:
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_print ... lus_CX3900which recommends the CUPS CX3805 driver. According to a
Ty Tower Australia posting on that page, he installed the driver (CX3805? CX3900?) from the Avasys site (see link given on above-mentioned page) and it prints OK, albeit slower than under Windows.
