I have an AMD 64 +3700 with 1gig of ram and geforce 7300 gpu and on idle its at 1000ghz and when I open an app or window it jumps to 100% cpu.
What do I need to look for and how?
I dont think it should be THAT high. Thats without compiz.
On system guard python is in there 10 times from usr/bin/python.
What is it doing?
But when I run top theres nothing in there on cpu over 5%.
