Dual IBM 9497 T86D monitors on Nvidia 8800GTS [Solved]

What I want to do is setup two screens as separate X outputs using xinearama. I used the "NVIDIA X Server Settings" application and can only get the dualview mode to work. I also cannot save to xorg.conf without corrupting it and having to return to xorg.conf.original.

I have two identical IBM 9497 T86D monitors (1280x1024 60hz).

Does anyone know what I need to do to the xorg.conf file provided with sabayon?
