Gentoo Handbook. What do the "Error #" messages at end of a failed emerge mean? Where can I get the list? Are they even helpful? I don't recall seeing anyone mention them here or in the Gentoo forums. I'm looking for better ways to help me 'listen to portage'.
Is there any other way to get better messages, tips, warnings, or guidance at the end of a failed emerge???
