Loop 3 Azureus problems.

Postby Stupot » Fri Jul 13, 2007 17:54

It won't load. I consider that to be a major problem. I re-emerged it and the java updated, but still same problem. I'll click it on it, and the cursor will change to the loading Azureus cursor, and then it'll just stop. I really don't like KTorrent.

I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm having problems because I only installed the KDE desktop.

Download the source code form sourceforge.net azureus part or just the java .jar app and run it.

Also might have to "emerge -uD azureus" dependacy's ?

Or using kuroo search for azureus and it should add dependancy's and do a proper install.

Worked first time for me as well.

Hi Stupot

What happens if you open up a konsole and type azureus
You should get the output of any error messages hopefully.

btw: If you are looking for a good bittorrent then qbittorrent is an excellent one. It even has a search function to look for downloads from different bittorrent sites.
It's available in portage and you can also find it here to http://qbittorrent.sourceforge.net/

All the best

Dave
