Change make.conf

Hello,

i want more work with emerge, because i use Sabayon on my Netbook and to work with Sources is better as Packages. Can i change the USE Variables in make.conf which come from Sabayon to my own? I has try to run emerge -uDN world, but so really want not run, ever come Error Messages.

PS: When ask why not direct use Gentoo, i has try but has problems with Sound and Wlan, with Sabayon run without any Problems. But i has more Package installed with emerge not with equo and the Updates from equo work not for emerge Packages.

You can set the USE flags to whatever you want, you should have a good understanding of gentoo and portage before trying to make the transition tho as you will have to work out some issues to get it all working. Clean up the make.conf and learn to use package.use file
