Best way to install gcstar [Solved]

Hi,
I'm trying to install gcstar from the sunrise overlay and I get this message:

- app-misc/gcstar-1.6.2::sunrise (masked by: corruption)

I saw something about this in another post but it was in Italian and I'm afraid my Italian is poor but I think that the solution was to use tellico. Anyway, that's not really a solution so I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to unmask the program if it's safe to do so.

i use gcstar too,
for catalog movies and mp3's
I just installed the sourcecode from the web:
http://wiki.gcstar.org/en/Install

it's not advisable to merge the masked package in portage, because
i think its corrupted. Otherwise you could autounmask it.

emerge --sync && layman -s sunrise

Then try again.

Thanks for the replies. I restored from a clonezilla image and I forgot to emerge --sync! All better now.
