Cannot manifest ebuild

[dE_logics]

In Sabayon, I cant ebuild <the ebuild placed in PORTDIR_OVERLAY or even /usr/portage> manifest.

It gives no response... it does nothing at all... and doesn't even make the manifest. How to fix this?

Post here the output of ls -la for the ebuild directory. Post here also the console output of the ebuild command and the contents of /etc/make.conf.

ebuild produces no output.
