Equo and Emerge doesn't work after rescue

We had a power outage last night because of the snow, and something happened with the computer, it was just stating kernel panic. Problem half solved with resque install, but when I try to update using equo, or emerge, all I get is a long message and the opportunity to file a bug.
I have read all that I could find in the wiki and on the forum, but no luck getting this solved. I use 5.0.

Any hints and jolly ideas are welcome.
