Maybe you misunderstood or caught an attitude a bit to quickly. I'm having the same problem, and still reading, trying to figure it out myself. Maybe you should do the same. If you want help, there is no need for attitude.

Hi! i'm new to sabayon and to this forum
i got it working just unchecking the alsa option in the portato menu.
obviously you can do this only if you aren't interested in gimp-alsa cross functions! bye!
