hi
i was wondering if, when if i were to install something twice ... and the version where the same ... would Sabayon just install it again deleting the previous version, install and have to identical versions or alert me that i have the same version installed?

If you install it using portage the current installed version will be deleted prior to merge the new one onto the filesystem
