Compiz Fusion on ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 not working at all!!

hey i have a dell inspiron 1501 with an ATI Raedon Xpress 1150. i have installed sabayon and nothing for compiz fusion works. i know that it can work, have seen tutorials for compiz fusion and beryl running on this card although they had to go back to an older version of beryl not sure about compiz fusion though but it was for kubuntu not sabayon, and i want to have compiz fusion to work other wize im going to go out and get a new video card witch i wont to do... anyway... i've been trying to find something to help me out for around a month and i cant find anything but i do have troubles finding things lots so... if someone would help me out?? uhm only thing that i know for commands is ( down ), if more are needed i will suply them, and i am somewhat new to linux not newbish but newish
