Gnome 3.6: Extended Desktop (vertical) configuration

Postby yowie » Tue Feb 05, 2013 23:55

Hi,

I've got an issue with Gnome Shell (noting that this issue does not exist if I am using a WM such as Cinnamon) where if I use a secondary monitor as an extended desktop vertically above the primary monitor the application windows are only able to occupy 1/4 to 1/2 (the right side) of the secondary screen. Maximising the application window actually reduces the application to approximately the size of the title bar.

If I place the secondary monitor logically horizontally to the primary monitor (left or right), the windows behave appropriately.

Interesting that this is not an issue when using Cinnamon. I've done some searches around but haven't found any solutions yet. Anyone have any ideas? Or even where to start for me?

Cheers.
