Unwanted Keyboard Binding - Openbox

Hi guys, as some of you may already know...I'm an openbox user. But yesterday after updating my sabayon install all of a sudden I see that there have been some new key bindings attached to override my original one and it has something to do with virtual consoles.

When I press Alt-F1 all the way to Alt-F7 it takes me to my virtual consoles...but I already have keybindings mapped out for that...which are Ctrl+Alt+F1 to F7...so why would I need these new bindings anyway.

Also I have bindings mapped to something like Alt-F4 to close applications ,etc. so these new bindings somewhat get in the way.

The new rules for these bindings weren't there in the rc.xml file so I'm wondering what's the root of this problem / how it can be solved.

Let me know if I should provide anymore info.
