Problems after E17 [Solved]

I installed the @e17 package via equo and played with the experimental composite settings and brought my system down. HD still working but monitor blank. Reboot and select my name from splash, screen blank. Reboot, ctl-alt-F1 and equo remove @e17. checked /usr/share/enlightenment and it is gone. Still could not boot w/o blank. Selected not shown and manually typed in username and such and got back into GNOME 3.

Don't know why nvidia drivers try to load. intel is used in xorg.conf.
Don't understand why dmesg couldn't be read. got permission denied from root account
Don't understand what Tracker Miner is in xsession-errors.

This link in the Maximize bandwidth of the wiki is a click bank and I ran it before I installed E17. I wonder if that is part of my problem. Prolly not as I recall getting a 404, but not sure.

Just checked sysctl.conf and it is still at the default according to nano....

UPDATE
I have since reinstalled e17 and reset the default profile and have done and equo upgrade. The only problem that persists is when I click on my name or guest on the logon screen the screen blanks and I cant even get another tty with ctl-alt-fx. The spin I installed was the x64 Gnome of Sabayon 9 so I am assuming I am dealing with gdm, but everything in /etc/gdm seems to be default. If I choose not listed I can boot into any WM I have installed...anyone got a clue what is going on, is this a bug or operator error? I can get a dmesg output after the equo upgrade, but I don't see anything in there but would be glad to post if need be...

Switched to KDM, No problems on either box...
