GNOME 3: can not switch between windows.

Hello

From the beginning when I installed GNOME on right side from "Activities" I saw thumbnails of all open applications of the active workspace and I could switch between the them. After the last upgrade this feature disappeared, I can see only thumbnail of the active window and have to make more efforts to switch to the invisible ones. How can I get back to the former configuration?

P.S. I googled for the solution but found only reference to tint2 which has to play the role of taskbar. I tried this but I still prefer to have a task list on the top side.
