Gnome 2.32.0 -- login screen & gdmsetup [Solved]

After this morning's update, the login screen has reverted to gnome default and gdmsetup seems to have disappeared.

Yep new gnome and new gdm was added to Limbo for testing.

We need to make a new theme for it.

Cool. I reckoned it was likely a "testing" thing. Thx.

FWIW -> It caused a bit of an xdm snafu on initial logout. Rebooting produced the default gdm login screen.

Yeah, I added some basic theming. But new gdm seems a bit a regression, no theming support and reworked configuration files syntax. It's still experimental and I'm not very convinced of keeping it. 2.20.1 works so well...

Of course we will pick what works best.

I just see, that limbo goes back from gdm 2.32.0 to 2.20.11 - a step I won't go.
The new gdm is much more comfortabel, no unnecessary dialogue, when switching to another display manager - and you can easily switch between the accounts. And most notable - the background brought also the correct background for locked sessions, so not anymore the green leaf background when entering your password in a locked screen.

Is there a way to lock the package, that a step back is not possible, so protecting the actual installed gdm 2.32.0 package?

The background has nothing to do with gdm.
