I like black too, but I fail to have a black bar at the bottom and a black bar at the top with "white" text in it AND have normal white windows with black text.
I'm forced to have black windows too because when you select white text, you also get white text in the white windows(which isn't viewable), forcing you to have black windows OR grey text to be visible in white and black together. (with 'windows', I don't mean the borders, they have to be black, but I mean the content of it where the folders are shown and icons etc.)
Look at Vista for example...it has black bars and white text in it, but still have white in windows with black text ---> impossible color scheme in KDE.
If this was fixed in KDE, I would have used a black desktop too, but I don't want black or grey windows and don't want grey text as a solution because I want clearly visible text in my bars so if I choose grey for the bars, I will see gray on white in the windows, which doesn't look good... and also having black windows is too much for me.
