Wireless Mighty Mouse

Postby davbeck » Sat Aug 18, 2007 21:09

I just got a new wireless mighty mouse (apple), which uses bluetooth.

I have never used bluetooth before especially on linux. When I browse for bluetooth devices I can see it, but when I click on it it asks for a program to use. If I try to connect to it, it gives an error that pairing is not allowed

I know you have to enter a pin (0000 is default), but it never asks for it.

thanks in advanced.

ps
I also have a wired apple keyboard (the new one) is there anyway to make the eject and F13 - F19 work. thanks
I love this distro!!!

Ok so I messed around and commented out the lines about encryption in the hcid.conf file. Now it gives me a different error.

Code: Select all
# hidd --search
Searching ...
        Connecting to device 00:14:51:CE:B2:3C
Can't create HID control channel: Connection refused

what the heck is going on with this thing?
I love this distro!!!
