Wireless not working. Also stuck at 28% like many others.

The same problem has been posted by others a few times already, but none solved this problem.

The problem:

- Wired network is OK.
- Wireless gets stuck at 28% and then asks for my network key for the second time. I enter it for the second time and then nothing happens.

My laptop:
- running 3.4e DVD version (HD install)
- Ralink RT2500 mini PCI wireless card

Please help!

- Disabled WEP encryption. No change. Now just says "wireless connection failed" after 28%.
- Tried DHCP and manual settings using net-setup. No change.

No wireless networks are found...
