Sabayon Linux 3.4 Final 32bit vs. Intel 4965 AGN

Hi Guys!

I have a serious problem. I `ve just installed the new release Sabayon 3.4 Final 32 bit version to my laptop (Acer Aspire 5920G) but my wireless internet connection does `nt working properly. My wifi card has been detected and identified and I could connect to the internet by the KNetworkManager but I cannot open any web pages with the firefox web browser or with the konqueror web browser.
The knetworkmanager says the link is up, the device is active, the connection is active, i got the IP address, i got the gateway, everything should be ok but I can `t access for the web pages. I have an Intel 4965 AGN wifi / wireless card. Any idea? How can I solve this problem?

Check /etc/resolv.conf as it should have your isp's dns servers in it.
Example:
nameserver 1.2.3.4
nameserver 2.3.4.5

What could work as well is add your router ip as the first one, say your ip for the laptop is 192.168.55.101 then the router should be 192.168.55.1 .
example:
nameserver 192.168.55.1
nameserver 1.2.3.4
nameserver 2.3.4.5

Knetworkmanager is stoned most of the time / only good for wpa2 connections.

You can as root in terminal :
# su
passwd:
# net-setup
Then follow the questions as is applicable to your config .
Recheck /ect/resolv.conf .

OK, thx 4 yr advice!
The problem was my internet connection, the wireless connection was down.
So I can browse the internet now, problem solved.

LOL this happens , it has made me so angry the last time this happened and I spend 5 hours trying to fix it meantime the router was stuck LOL
