Sabayon x86 3.4 Loop3 internet issue

Postby Grant » Fri Jul 06, 2007 5:21

I can't connect to the internet at all, I'm using my onboard ethernet on my Foxconn CS1XEM2AA motherboard. I really have no idea what the problem is since I've never had an internet issue before. If you have things you need me to do to get output and such just tell me and I'll try them. I really want to use Sabayon. Thanks.

Well, I'm posting this from Sabayon right now, so it works. I really have no idea what the issue was. I have two plugs for ethernet cables, so maybe it tried using the inactive one. Anyway thanks for the help even though it fixed itself.

EDIT: The problem was that it was choosing eth1 instead of eth0, all I have to do is change it if it happens to select the wrong one.
