Get into terminal / console while in say kde /gnome and as root type "net-setup" and follow the instructions.
This might fix it.
It could be the module or it can the the router.
If router unplug it for 1 min. then plug in again and see if it connects.
Any idea if inside the router config if you have mac adress blocking or need a password / code to get onto your wireless network. This can also block it.
Once router is okay then try to "modprobe -r ipw3945" to unload the module and then after it completes "modprobe ipw3945" again to reload the module.
Might have to once more do "net-setup"
If all this fails then might have to use ndiswrapper and the windows .inf file for the wifi card.
Also have to check maybe it might need mad-wifi to be emerged via kuroo or terminal not sure but doubt it.
Hope this helps
