after kernel-switch to 3.2 brcmsmac isn't there [Solved]

Postby maulbongo » Sat Jan 14, 2012 12:05

Hi Folks,

I just switched to Kernel 3.2 and now I can't get brcmsmac to work anymore.
Within 3.2 the brcmsmac left staging, but where did it go now?
When I do
Code: Select all
modprobe brcmsmac
I get
Code: Select all
FATAL: Module brcmsmac not found.

For the moment I switched back to the wl module.
Hope someone has an idea.

Hi lxnay,

I read this, but this does not really help me, what does it mean, the module isn't there and it comes later?

Edit: Here it is written clearly for me ;)

So ok I'll also wait until 3.3 is out.
