Privoxy failed to start

Added privoxy to default level, but it fails to start.
/var/log/rc.log

 * Starting privoxy ...    [ !! ]
 * ERROR: privoxy failed to start

I need to manually start privoxy from command line... which works OK.

What could be wrong?

Thanks, but haven't tried the workaround... probably even don't have to.
After switching to sys-kernel/linux-sabayon-3.1 it seems to work OK.

Tried the workaround from the gentoo forum.
Privoxy started, but rc-status shows two instances now
